Sunday, June 14

Informational Meeting

Immediately following the morning worship service.

This meeting is for everyone planning to participate in Mission Week. We will review the schedule, answer questions, discuss transportation, and explain volunteer opportunities.

Monday, June 15

Construction Team

A small group from FBC will travel to Corry, PA, to begin work on a shed project for Harvest Community Church.

The team will return to Clarion that evening.

Departure Time: 5am from FBC

Evening Arrival

Shady Grove Baptist Church from South Carolina will arrive in Clarion.

• Pizza will be delivered at 6:30 p.m. to FBC Downstairs
• Arrival is expected between 6:30–7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 16

Construction Team

• 7:00 a.m. – Meet at FBC to pack tools, supplies, and overnight items.
• 8:00 a.m. – Depart for Corry, PA. in FBC Bus and other vehicles as needed.
• 10:00 a.m. – Arrive and begin construction of the shed.

Prayer & Community Outreach

Volunteers not participating in construction are encouraged to:

• Pray for the churches, ministries, and community members involved in Mission Week.
• Participate in prayer walks throughout the community.
• Look for opportunities to engage with local residents and encourage them through conversation and prayer.

Childcare

In the evening, volunteers will provide childcare for Harvest staff and volunteers in Corry.

Wednesday, June 17

Construction Team

• 8:00 a.m. – Begin work on the shed project.

Prayer & Community Outreach Team

• Continue prayer walks and community engagement opportunities.

Return to Clarion

The team will return to Clarion once the project has been completed.

Thursday, June 18

Construction Team

• 8:00 a.m. – Meet at Izzie Village —321 Ridge Ave, #25 Strattanville, PA
• Rebuilding Porches.

Community Outreach Team

Throughout the day, volunteers will:

• Assemble goodie bags for community outreach.
• Paint boxes for the Block Party
• Prepare supplies for the community picnic.
• Organize food, games, and outreach materials.

Flyer Distribution

Help invite neighbors to upcoming community events.

• 11:00 a.m. – Distribute Block Party flyers along 2nd Avenue.
• 12:00 p.m. – Visit Penn Court to distribute invitations to the Community Picnic.

Volunteer Dinner

• 3:30 p.m. – Spaghetti dinner at the FBC for Volunteers

Community Picnic

• 5:00 p.m. – Transport supplies to the Next Step parking lot.
• 5:30–7:30 p.m. – Community Picnic

Volunteers will:

• Serve hot dogs, chips, watermelon, desserts, and drinks.
• Welcome neighbors and build relationships.
• Share information about the church and upcoming Block Party.
• Offer prayer and encouragement as opportunities arise.

Friday, June 19

Construction Team

• 8:00 a.m. – Meet at Meet at Izzie Village —321 Ridge Ave, #25 Strattanville, PA
• Complete porch construction.

Block Party Preparation Team

Volunteers remaining in Clarion will help prepare for the Block Party by:

• Preparing food.
• Setting up tables, chairs, tents, and canopies.
• Organizing games and activities.
• Preparing welcome materials and information.

Community Block Party

• 4:00–7:30 p.m.

Activities may include:

• Wet Zone: Battle Ball, SlipNSlide, Tropical Inflatable
• Bible & Goodie Bag table, Glitter Tattoos, Toddler Section, Sand Art Gospel Craft
• Popcorn, Tacos, Ice Cream

Saturday, June 20

Farewell & Cleanup

• Say goodbye to the Shady Grove team.
• Assist with cleanup and packing as needed.
